RWE participating in project to produce green hydrogen from 21GW of offshore wind in the Netherlands

The Netherlands holds plenty of promise for generating green hydrogen and with this, RWE is participating in a Dutch offshore wind tender for Hollandse Kust West (HKW).

Revealed today (May 16), the company has submitted bids for both HKW site VI and HKW site VII to contribute to the Dutch government’s ambitious build out target of 21GW for offshore wind by around 2030.The areas are located in the North Sea, about 53km off the Dutch coast.
