Cummins to supply a 25MW electrolyser system for hydrogen production hub in Florida, US

A 25MW electrolyser system will be supplied by Cummins to Florida Power and Light Company (FPL) as it aims to integrate hydrogen production into the Cavendish NextGen Hydrogen Hub in the US, the company said today (Feb 28).

Set to be established in Florida, the FPL hydrogen hub will utilise solar energy to power the electrolysis process that produces green pr carbon-free hydrogen from water.

Once the hydrogen is being produced at the hub, it is believed that it will be blended with natural gas and used to power an existing combustion turbine.….
