China, one of the leading countries in hydrogen, is continuing to accelerate its hydrogen economy and has been boosted with Risen Energy selected to provide modules for a new 361MW hydrogen production project.

Being developed in China’s Xinjiang region, Sinopec intends to couple 650MW of photovoltaic (PV) modules, provided by Risen Energy, for green hydrogen production.

This will see more hydrogen enter the market providing domestic enterprises and businesses the opportunity to transition to hydrogen technologies and decarbonise their operations.
